Fringe Educational Program
In the Fall of 2017, Ghost Light Players will bring our Fringe production of Hamlet to local schools, as part of an immersive educational program. Our Educational Coordinator, Michelle Leibowitz, has partnered with other area educators to develop a curriculum that will engage, challenge and entertain in classrooms throughout MetroWest MA. For more information about this program, please contact our Educational Coordinator!
Stage combat workshop
On Sunday, June 25th, Ghost Light Players hosted a Stage Combat Workshop as part of our commitment to providing theater education opportunities to our community. This workshop focused on stage combat techniques used for hand-to-hand combat and weapons. Our workshop instructors were Amy DeMar-DuBois and Will Gelinas. Amy is a longtime member of Ghost Light Players, a member of our Board of Governors and an SAFD-trained fight choreographer. Will is also an SAFD-trained fight choreographer and created the fight choreography seen onstage in last year’s production of Hamlet, which we will also be performing at The Fringe Festival in Scotland this August.
